... and maybe there needs to be a lighthouse :P I think that the shadows don't need to be so strong. Dial the opacity back on the shadows and if it is for the cover maybe make it into a sunrise. I am also not sure if a lens flare suits the painted style. Just a single blurred out spot of high luminance colour would do for a sun. A lens flare presupposes that it was captured with a lens. As an outsider and a heathen I'm going to say that I like both the lens flare effect on the paint, and also the absence of lighthouse, it really does nail the point down that it's not your average lighthouse - which I love, because the lighthouse is really only visible for the last part of the animation, but then you realise that it has been in focus in the narrative the whole time - sort of prompts watching it again and getting a new context out of Lewis' actions.
